DIRECTIONS

I-91 heading South (from Massachusetts and points north)
Exit 31 - State Street.
At the end of the exit you will be at Columbus Boulevard.
Cross Columbus Blvd. and get in the center lane - this is State Street. Stay on State Street as it bends (through traffic light). Continue to the next light and cross over Main Street. State Street now becomes Pearl Street. Stay on Pearl, cross Trumbull Street. The theater will be on your left just before the intersection of Ann Uccello Street.

I-91 heading North (from New York and the Connecticut shoreline)
Exit 29A - Capital Area Exit.
Take long exit ramp, staying left and follow to the traffic circle. Take the frst right off the circle. Follow the road as it bends around Bushnell Park (you will pass Vito's Restaurant on your right). At the next light, take a right onto Trumbull Street. Take your 1st left onto Pearl Street. The theater will be on your left just before the intersection of Ann Uccello Street.

I-84 heading East (from West Hartford, Litchfield and Fairfield County)
Exit 48A - Asylum Street / Capital Avenue.
Stay left on the exit and follow for Asylum Street. Take a right onto Asylum Street. You will immediately pass under a train trestle. Continue through the next traffic light as the road bends sharply to the right but stay in the left lane. Take the next left at the light onto Pearl Street. You will pass a fire station on your right. Continue through the traffic light, crossing over Ann Uccello Street. The theater will be on your right immediaelty beyond this intersection.

I-84 heading East (from East Hartford, Tolland County and Boston)
Exit 54 - Downtown Hartford.
The exit will take you across Founders Bridge, follow straight through to the traffic light and State Street. Stay in the center lane on State Street as it bends (through 2nd traffic light). Continue to the next light and cross over Main Street. State Street now becomes Pearl Street. Stay on Pearl, cross Trumbull Street. The theater will be on your left just before the intersection of Ann Uccello Street.


PARKING

The best audience parking in town - never more than $5.

Indoor Parking
CityPlace Garage - traveling east on Pearl Street, the garage is on your left one block up before the intersection of Trumbull Street (Closed on Sundays).

OutDoor Parking
Q Lot - enter from Pearl Street across from the Fire House, adjacent to The Metropolitan.

REMEMBER to bring your parking ticket to the theater for validation and the discounted rate.

You should no longer park in Goodwin Square Garage

ON EVENT NIGHTS: You may be asked to pay when parking. To receive our special rate, be sure to tell the attendant that you are going to TheaterWorks.

METERED PARKING: Downtown Hartford now uses a Pay & Display Parking Meter System for on-street parking. If you park before 6p.m. - you must use the meters which now accept coin and credit cards. Please carefully observe all city signage.

PLEASE NOTE: Parking on Pearl Street is not allowed between 2:30-6:30 p.m. on WEEKDAYS. Cars will be ticketed and towed. You may park at any metered spot for free anytime on Saturday or Sunday.
